Ebikō is a traditional scented sachet that traces its origins to Japan’s Nara and Heian periods (from 710 onward). During this era, incense, once primarily associated with Buddhist rituals, became an integral part of aristocratic daily life. Fragrance was enjoyed both through smoke diffused on heated charcoal (Soradaki) and through sachets used to subtly perfume garments like kimonos.
 
Our natural incense Per-fumum, is a blend of all-natural resins and woods such as sandalwood, clove, Japanese camphor and cinnamon, it can be used over charcoal for soradaki, or placed into drawers, bags, letters, or pockets to delicately infuse your objects.
