“My work moves along a threshold—between the ephemeral and the lasting,” says Dietlind Wolf.
 
Inspired by the Japanese incense ceremony Kōdō—literally “the way of scent”— Dietlind Wolf has created exclusively for RYOKO, white sculptural art pieces that take on added fragrance, holding it within their porous surfaces and releasing it.
 
Between the ephemeral nature of scent and the permanence of the vessel emerges a space—empty yet full, a space in which the invisible becomes tangible.
