神々の木、沈香
釈迦は沈香をニルヴァーナ（涅槃）
の香と表現しました。
沈香とは、熱帯アジアで育つジンチョウゲ科ジンコウ属の常緑高木です。木自体は無香ですが、真菌や病気、害虫などによって木部が侵されたとき、その防御策として樹脂が分泌されます。その樹脂が年月を重ね、木と一体となり密度を高め、やがて香木へとなるのです。わずが２％の木部分のみが香木になると言われていて、ゆえ、金と並ぶ、世界で一番貴重で高価な天然素材のうちの一つです。
沈香は、古代から世界中で文化的および宗教的な重要性を持っています。ユダヤ教の聖典タナハや、インドの宗教文書ヴェーダ、また、イスラム教の経典でも記述され、現代に至るまで崇拝され珍重され続けています。日本では、聖徳太子に始まり、かの織田信長も愛した香りと言われていて、精神世界をも繋ぐ無二の幽玄な香りは、今も昔も人々を虜にする魅力を持っています。

Khao Yai
Distilled in 2025, in the province of Khao Yai, this oil displays remarkably refined, high-quality character. It opens with a fresh, pleasant brightness that gradually unfolds into gentle creaminess and notable depth, revealing a dark, smoky woodiness beneath.
Even at this early stage, it already presents a polished, sophisticated incense-like profile—balanced, complex, and highly enjoyable—and will continue to improve beautifully with age.
The smoky facets are nuanced and elegant, reminiscent of slowly heated, resin-rich oud chips, while the woody core is exceptional, evoking the aroma of antique, varnished hardwood furniture.
Sa Kaeo
With notes reminiscent of our previously beloved Pang Sida oil, this blend incorporates a softer expression of Wild Cambodian 2017, offered at an exceptionally reasonable price.
It opens with a fresh, vivid profile, evoking sweet almond and bergamot-like brightness, pleasantly accented by a touch of refined leather. As it evolves, these elements transition seamlessly, creating a well-rounded olfactory journey that remains elegant and uplifting throughout.
カンボジア産 沈香
2019年蒸留
2019年に蒸留された、この稀少なカンボジア産沈香は、60年以上の歳月を経た野生の沈香樹から作られ、深みのある土っぽさの残る奥深い香りで、革やタバコを思わせるニュアンスが漂います。肌にのせて約10分ほどで、甘く豪華な木の香りが広がり、優雅で温かみのある果実の要素がそっと加わります。
カンボジア・ココン産 沈香
この沈香は、柔らかいフルーティーな香り立ちが魅力で、洗練された木のニュアンスが加わっています。ほのかな甘さは、熟したプラムを連想させ、奥深い木の要素と温かみのある上質な杉のような香りが豊かさを引き立てます。肌にのせた後、時間が経つにつれて、最初のフルーティーから、沈香の精妙で樹脂のような特質が表れ、光沢のある蜂蜜のような甘い香りが奥深く漂います。
